Ursadon
Anatomy:
The Ursadon look incredibly close to their close cousins, the Ursera. Their appearance is very similar to a bear crossed with a large cat. They are incredibly muscled, and insanely strong, while also being massive enough to take down prey such as bears, and even mammoths if properly motivated.
Ursadon have a couple of distinct features that are common to them. Their fur is incredibly thick, coarse and water resistant to keep them warm underneath. Their paw pads are coarse and thick, they have very little feeling in them as they were designed to protect them from the icy cold of the tundra. Their Muzzles are elongated to nab prey out of dens after digging them out.

Ursadon:
The Ursadon are colossal mammalian creatures that roam the untamed frozen north of Mythra. An even closer cousin of the Ursera than the Ealeochs, these predatory animals once belonged to all areas of Mythra, but when the great droughts and famines during the Ursera hibernation hit the land, they retreated north where they would live reclusively for hundreds of years. Not much is known of the Ursadon, as they have been so far from civilization for so long that records have been all but lost. Recently however, with the return of the Ursera from their magical hibernation, the Ursadon are slowly coming to the southern lands and migrating to the areas they once called home.
Temperament:
Temperament The Ursadon are a relatively reclusive species, as opposed to social. Centuries of confinement to the frozen wastes have made them less than sociable to other species, but they are not necessarily aggressive either. They are however quite territorial, as scarce resources make living in their region a survival of the fittest. Females are generally more aggressive than males, as they staunchly protect their territories, needing the precious nutrients to feed both themselves and their young.
Climate and Dietary needs:
Climate/Diet The Blasted Tundra in the northmost section of Mythra is where the Ursadon call home. While they once roamed Mythra freely, the catastrophic events centuries ago drove them north to find a new way of living. These lands are generally uncharted territory, as many creatures cannot survive the frigid temperatures and limited resources. The Ursadon, however, adapted quickly. Their diet consists of large tundra prey animals. Small prey animals such as small birds and rodents need not fear the massive Ursadon, as they simply do not bother wasting the energy on such a small meal. After the return of the Ursera, the Ursadon have sensed that more of Mythra is safe once more and have begun to slowly migrate south.
Lifespan: 40-50 years
Running Speed: When chasing prey they can get up to 30 MPH, but their size makes it tough to maintain that speed for long
Bite Force: Ursadon have the bite force of 1500 PSI
Gender Terms: | Male: Boar | Female: Sow | Baby: Cub

What is the relationship between Ursadon and Humanoids?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relations with Humans Since their retreat to the north, the Ursadon have had little to no contact with the humanoids of Mythra, as most cannot handle the harsh climate. It is in their nature to be civil with humans, much like the Ealeoch, and should one encounter a humanoid they would be in no danger Unless threatened. Friendly and symbiotic relationships are possible between these species. As not much is known about these creatures by the humanoids of Mythra, they are often feared as massive beasts capable of wiping out small villages.

What is the herding mentality of Ursadon? Mating Practices?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Herding/Mating Ursadon are generally solitary animals but will sometimes form small family groups if their territory can sustain them. It is not uncommon for Ursadon in neighboring territories to work together to bring their own prey and share the spoils, but that is the extent of a herd or pack mentality. Mated pairs will sometimes travel together and share a territory, again only if the territory can sustain both individuals. Mating practices for the Ursadon are generally casual and cordial. An Ursadon will attempt to court another with gifts of prey or other valuable resources, and if the recipient finds the gift to be suitable, they will accept them. Mating is not explicitly between male and female Ursadon, and in fact mated pairs or family groups consisting of the same sex or gender is incredibly common.

What level of magic do Ursadon possess, and how is it used?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Magic affinity for Ursadon really depends on the Ursadon! Some do not require artifacts, and some cannot do any magic without them! The ones that do have an affinity are very proficient with elemental magic! These magical abilities are often passed down from parent to cub!
